IK0A9950We are a Community of Dominican Friars, committed to building up the local Church through preaching the Word of God by what we say and by the kind of people we are. In Galway we aim to do this through our church ministry, our parish and school, by visiting the sick and elderly and many other outreaches. In 1971, at the invitation of Bishop Michael Browne, we accepted the care of a parish. More recently, a Polish speaking chaplaincy was established with a Dominican from Poland as parish chaplain.
